In a nutshell, we’re a New York based blog for passionate New Yorkers. Through our own experiences, our goal is to build a community of New Yorkers who refuse to leave due to our economic times. Truth is, we have to be resourceful on finding ways to keep our sanity while still having fun. With the Five Outsiders, we try to provide some of that for you. After the economy crashed, most of us felt it. In the past year, all of us (and yes, we are all friends) got laid off, fired, or were finding ourselves at crossroads. It was one pity party after another. After months of bitching to one another, the question became, how can we utilize our time and hidden talents. That’s why we’re here and we hope you enjoy the ride.
